I trained in Liverpool with The Reader Organisation in January 2015. Since then I have run reading groups in several communities including Auckland Regional Womens Correctional Facility , Selwyn village and Auckland libraries. If you contact us it is me that you will talk to! Currently I wear many hats for TRR including volunteer co-ordinator, TRO liaison, fundraiser, tweeter, researcher, administrator and shared reader practitioner. I also have worked at the University of Auckland libraries for 11 years and am currently teacher aiding. It has been amazing to meet so many new people in the charity and library sectors who are excited to learn about shared reading. As shared reading becomes embedded within communities I can share the joy of the outcomes with both staff and participants. I also love becoming a part of new communities and forming new friendships and partnerships via the shared reading magic!
