In our Shared Reading session this week we read Trent Dalton’s Love Story Two Believers. What a delight it was. I gave an introduction as to the background of the story from the ‘Letter to Kath’ and then we read on. It generated so much excellent discussion. After the session I then sent on an email with the whole story including the Letter to Kath. One of our group member wrote the following comment in an email to me after the session – I loved the story and the letter certainly explained why the writer wanted to collect love stories, so much for the typical oz cynical journalist. Thank you for picking this story for us to share.
Please pass on our appreciation to Trent if you are meeting with him.
